Daywise Itinerary of Your Trip to Greece and Turkey

Day 1 : ATHENS ( Homebound International Flight to Athens)
Arrive Athens Airport. Following the passport control and customs, meet and greet by our representative at the airport. Private transfer to your hotel with VIP AC car. Free at leisure rest of the day. Enjoy a leisurely evening by hopping on to some local markets, visiting some local cafes, doing some shopping and trying out local foods and wines. Overnight.

Day 2 : ATHENS (Athens Sightseeing Tour) (B)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel for the Sightseeing tour of Athens. Tour will start with the visits to The Constitution of Greece (Syntagma). The Constitutional history of Greece goes back to the Greek War of Independence, during which the first three revolutionary Greek constitutions were adopted. Continue to the Old Parliament House which housed the Greek Parliament between 1875 and 1932, now turned into National Historical Museum. Then, you will see The National Library of Greece which holds 4,500 Greek manuscripts, one of the greatest collection of Greek scripts Drive to the Presidential Palace, the official residence of the President of the Greek Republic, where you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform. It served as the Royal Palace, until the abolition of the monarchy in 1974. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian's Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium which was refurbished for the 1896 Olympics. Then you will visit Acropolis Museum and see the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the hill and on its feet, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. This area lies on the archaeological site of Makrygianni and the ruins of a part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens. Also, you will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion. The last stop is The Parthenon, temple in Acropolis, the harmony between material and spirit, the monument that puts order in the mind. You will return to your hotel in the early afternoon. Free rest of the day. 

Day 3 : ATHENS ( Cruise to Santorini Island) / SANTORINI (B)
Morning transfer to the port to embark the ferry to Santorini 07:30 - 15:15 Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and then you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the stunningly gorgeous Greek isle that it’s rumored in legend to be the lost city of Atlantis. Walk in the paths of Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini; perched high up on the edge of the Caldera and enjoy the views of the volcano, ocean, white-washed buildings, and blue domed churches. Day 4 : SANTORINI (Full day Santorini Island Tour) (B)
Day at leisure to enjoy the unique and spectacular sights of the island, the most romantic sunset of the world and the beautiful, whitewashed houses. You will enjoy your day with an Oai Sunset Tour . Meet your friendly, English Speaking guide and tour inside your luxury, air-conditioned vehicle for the sightseeing of the island first stop is Pyrgos. Situated at the highest point of Santorini, the village offers an idyllic snapshot of old-world Greece. Follow your guide along the winding paths, past the sugar cube houses and blue-domed churche, and make your way to the hilltop ruins of a medieval Venetian castle. From here, gaze out over the entire island, soaking up panoramic views all the way to the village of Oia. Day 5 : SANTORINI (Cruise from Santorini to Mykonos) / MYKONOS (B)
Morning at leisure. At indicated time transfer to ferry port and board on a ferry from the Santorini to Mykonos. Arrive Mykonos, the most famous island in Greece and, with no doubt the most cosmopolitan in Cyclades islands. Transfer to your hotel. Mykonos has unique beauties with archaeological, natural, recreational and traditional aspects. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure while strolling around in some local markets and trying out some local foods and wines. Enjoy your evening by strolling around the city and take a walking tour to the Archaeological, Folklore and Maritime Museums.

Day 6 : MYKONOS (B)
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, free day in Mykonos. Take the chance to explore every sight of the island with the all-white-washed cubic houses with blue windows, charming narrow streets with pebble-stoned pavements and little white chapels with sky-blue cupolas and the famous Windmills. Day 8 : ISTANBUL (Full Day Tour of Old City of Istanbul and Topkapi Palace) (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel will be followed by a full day tour of Old City Istanbul and Topkapi Palace. Meet you guide at the reception and drive to the Sultan Ahmet Center, the heart of the “Old City” from where the Byzantian and Ottoman Empires were ruled. Visits will start with the Hippodrome, center of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome. Then visit The Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, displaying art collection from different civilizations of Anatolia. Continue with the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Imperial Mosque), famous for its delicate blue ceramic tiles and then Saint Sophia (Aya Sofya), primarily a church – turned mosque – turned museum, which takes the breath away with the sheer architectural size of its interior and magnificent dome, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Exploration of Istanbul's treasures continues with the visit to the bustling Grand Bazaar (Covered bazaar - Kapalicarsi), biggest “souk” in the World with its more than 4000 shops and stalls. Enjoy shopping for almost anything (jewelry, antiques, carpets, textile, garments, spices, souvenirs, etc.). 
Lunch at a Turkish Restaurant. Following the lunch afternoon visits will continue with the spectacular Topkapi Palace, imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans. Built on one of the seven hills of Istanbul, this huge complex command the views of the Sea of Marmara, The Bosporus, and the Golden Horn. It was the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire for many centuries (1453-1852). Visit the extravagant Imperial Treasury, Sacred Islamic Relics of Prophet Mohammed, Sultan Portraits, Imperial Kitchen, where up to 800 cooks prepared as many as 6,000 meals a day with valuable collection of golden dining sets, the priceless Chinese and Japanese porcelain, Weapons and Armors Section, Calligraphy Section, and the Imperial Harem ( extra) encompassing more than 400 rooms … Tour will continue with the Sultan Tombs, there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at Hagia Sophia. Day 9 : ISTANBUL / BURSA (Full day Tour of Bursa and Mount Uludag) / ISTANBUL (B, L)
After breakfast you will join a Full Day Tour of Bursa and Mount Uludag. Drive to the port for ferryboat to Yalova. Arrive Yalova and drive to Bursa enjoying the lovely countryside. Arrive to Bursa, former Ottoman Capital and one of the most visited tourist sites in Turkey. Lunch at a known local restaurant. Drive to the 600-year survivor Inkaya Plane Tree and coffee break on the way to Uludag. Climb to Uludag, the legendary Mount Olympos, by cable car (if the weather conditions are inconvenient and Uludag is cancelled, extra sightseeing in Bursa will be supplemented), visits to Ulucami (Grand Mosque), the Green Mosque and the Green Mausoleum, the old Silk Market in the Covered Bazaar. Late evening return to İstanbul and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 10 : ISTANBUL ( Full Day Tour of Bosphorus Cruise and Dolmabahce Palace) (Domestic Flight to Kayseri) / KAYSERI / CAPPADOCIA (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Pickup from your hotel and drive along the traces of history at Balat viewing Metal Church of St. Stephen the Bulgarian, Jewish Hospital (Or-Ahayim), Fener Orthodox Patriarchate and 22 km. long Byzantine City Walls, strongest fortification of the middle age. Pass by Golden Horn, a natural harbour of the historical peninsula separating the old and the new parts of Istanbul where the first colonies settled during the Byzantines, the residential area for Byzantine Jews, Italian traders and other minorities. Continue to your excursions with the Spice Bazaar full of mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Return to your hotel. Meet your transferman at your hotel and transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport to Domestic Flights Terminal for your afternoon flight to Kayseri. Fly to Kayseri with Turkish Airlines. Arrive Kayseri and meet your transferman at the airport. Coach transfer to Cappadocia to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 11 : CAPPADOCIA (Full day tour of Underground City and Ihlara Valley) (B,L)
Your daily program begins after breakfast the visits will begin with the underground city of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu which are refuges carved out in the early Christian Era as safe havens from persecutors. Then continue with the Ihlara Valley, famous for its churches decorated with frescoes with a unique style and furthermore its landscape of the canyon... The next visit will be to Avanos which is world famous with pottery making. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 12 : CAPPADOCIA (Extra Hot Air Balloon Tour ) ( Full day Excursions in Cappadocia , Uchisar , Goreme Open Air Museum)/ KAYSERI (Domestic Flight to Izmir) / IZMIR /KUSADASI (B,L)

These soft rocks were hollowed out by early Christians and used as secret dwellings as they were being sought first by their Roman and later by Byzantine persecutors. We will also visit many churches that have been decorated with vivid frescoes which have withstood the corrosive effects of time. The excursions will start with the natural citadel of Uchisar which will enable you to get a panoramic view of the region. And then the Goreme Valley which is the highlight of the day. This valley houses, the Goreme Open Air Museum with its churches hewn out of rock and the colorful frescoes which decorate them. The next stop is Zelve and the caves of this ancient village continuing with the Cavusin Village. Following the tour transfer to Kayseri Airport. Fly to Izmir.
